Sarah Marquardt is the Funding Coordinator for the firm. She is originally from Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, with a minor in history which focused on ancient mythology and studies, receiving cum laude honors upon graduation. Sarah joined the firm in 2018, and in her current role directly assists in the estate and business planning practices of the firm, with an emphasis on the firm’s funding department lead by Erika Wiskes. Sarah is highly involved with the client experience throughout the process in these practice areas, coordinating firm and client communications regarding the coordination of assets, including real estate, life insurance and retirement accounts, and other funding-related matters. Sarah ensures an efficient and smooth funding process by helping clients by preparing funding documents for clients, including instructional letters, forms, spreadsheets, deeds and ancillary real estate documents. She also assists our clients on additional funding matters after our initial estate planning engagement and assists them in coordinating real estate, beneficiary forms and annual review meetings to review additional and separate funding-related matters. Sarah also updates and maintains our firm website to better help prospective clients find the best option for them.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys literature, film, with a focus on 1930-40s musicals and Japanese animation, art and vintage video games, especially pin ball machines and 8-bit systems. Her perfect weekend is spent with family or friends, playing mini golf, bowling, fishing or heading to the Madison Farmer’s Market or Art Fair On The Square to spend the day enjoying everything Madison has to offer!
